In the original you had to restart a stage if you shot too many civilians (with the same number of credits you finished the stage with). However, neither game is exceptional.

Whenever this game is brought up, there is always someone who comments on the fact that this game has no map (and you start with 30 health).

There is something for everyone in this underrated racing game if you look hard enough. You have to get past your rivals on each track and bet money before you race. Beginners will like how unusually forgiving the game is when you go offtrack or collide with racers and experts will like the very responsive controls.
