League of Evil review

Posted : 4 years, 8 months ago on 24 August 2019 10:44 (A review of League of Evil)

A game with skill based challenges. There are no secrets to uncover, but there are briefcases in each of the many, many levels as well as a target to assassinate in each level, the goal being to get the briefcase and assassinate the guy quickly enough. A test of reflexes. This game is 2D and is a platformer. Worth buying.

WE ARE DOOMED review

Posted : 4 years, 8 months ago on 24 August 2019 10:41 (A review of WE ARE DOOMED)

This game is a twinstick shooter and currently, there aren't too many of them on the market. 30 waves of enemies in standard mode with checkpoints every ten levels, or endless waves in endless mode. Play for a high score or just to pass the time with very satisfying twinstick controls. Fair difficulty, especially compared to the notoriously and ridiculously tough Riddled Corpses EX.

Guns, Gore and Cannoli review

Posted : 4 years, 8 months ago on 24 August 2019 10:31 (A review of Guns, Gore and Cannoli)

I typically love run and guns: Mega Man, Contra. However, this one is a real loser. Your guns fire so slowly you have to wait after each shot. This alone ruins the experience, but in addition to it, the graphics are cheap looking (almost Paper Mario esque), the enemies take too many shots to kill, and your character runs too slowly. I don't recall any problems with the jumping mechanics. It's been a while since I've played, but I remember the worst things about it, especially the slow firing speed. I uninstalled this game on PS4, where I bought it. Has the dubious recognition of being the worst run and gun I've played in years.

Monopoly review

Posted : 5 years ago on 17 April 2019 01:23 (A review of Monopoly)

It's Monopoly, the famous board game. You can play against the computer and/or humans, set the timer, set deeds in advance, and basically have the computer count your money for you. It's also faster than the SNES version. Worth trying.
